Yesterday, Iran and the world lost a great scientist in desertology

 

Professor Parviz Kordavani, holder of the first-class badge of knowledge and enduring figure, known as the "father of Iranian desertology", died at the age of 90 yesterday.

  This great scientist of Iran and the world was born in 1931 in Garmsar near Tehran, the capital of Iran.

In 1969, he became the director general of the Office of Educational Studies at the University of Tehran. He was also the founder and head of the Desert and Desert Research Center of Iran.

May his soul be happy and his path be filled by the students and teachers he trained.

 Dr. Malek Hosseini is a world-renowned scientist and figure in organ transplants, especially liver.

He has handled several teams of Iranian specialists with world knowledge in his hospital and has performed tens of thousands of successful organ transplants so far. Many patients from all over the world have been referred to this hospital for treatment and organ transplants too.

By help of his colleagues and like-minded people, he is also trying to establish another large hospital for cancer patients in the city of Sadra near Shiraz.

The history of Iran has not been short of these great men and women, but Dr. Malek Hosseini has another characteristic, and that is his amazing humility.
